Pinnacle Minerals, listed on the ASX as PIM, is advancing a mine restart study and exploration activities at the Lightning Peak open pit within its Thunder Mountain Gold-Silver Project in Idaho, USA. The
initiative aims to evaluate the potential restart of the historic Lightning Peak operation through a combination of technical, field, and geophysical studies. Initial efforts include detailed geological mapping, analysis of historical rock chip and channel sample data, and processing of airborne magnetic and satellite datasets to define structural controls and identify new high-priority drill targets. Assay results from recently collected samples are expected soon and will be incorporated into a 3D model of the Lightning Peak pit to support redevelopment planning and permitting discussions with US regulators.
