What's Happening?
SSI (Scuba Schools International) has initiated a 'Diver Stress & Rescue Contest' across North America, encompassing the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. The competition, running until October 31, 2026, challenges SSI Training Centers
and Professionals to certify the highest number of students in the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue program. The primary objective is to increase the number of divers trained to recognize stress, prevent potential problems, and respond effectively to underwater emergencies. Incentives for participation include an Aqualung i330R Dive Computer for the top SSI Professional and SSI Pro rash guards for the staff of the winning Training Center. Additionally, every diver who earns a new SSI Diver Stress & Rescue certification between September 1 and October 31 will be entered into a random drawing to win an Aqualung i330R Dive Computer. SSI is also providing marketing materials to assist Training Centers and Professionals in promoting the program and contest within their local communities.
