VRAI, a simulation data company based in the UK and Ireland, has launched the Virtual All-Domain Environment (VADE) at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2025 exhibition in London. VADE is a mission visualization, briefing, and rehearsal tool designed to enhance tactical planning and intelligence training. Developed since 2020, the system utilizes the Epic Games Unreal Engine and Cesium for Unreal to ingest georectified datasets, allowing users to visualize complex environments and operations. The system is already operational with elements of UK Strategic Command, and its origins trace back to work for the Royal Air Force under Project Sphinx.
