She was actively involved in various communities across Illinois and Arizona, including Skokie, Northbrook, Glenview, Buffalo Grove, Sun City West, and Scottsdale. For the past decade, Rhodes served as the social director of her senior living community, Andara. She was married to Sherwin Rhodes for 70 years and is survived by her children and grandchildren. A celebration of her life is scheduled for September 9, 2025, at Makom Solel Lakeside in Highland Park, Illinois.
