What's Happening?
Chef Brian Enyart, known for his culinary work and having cooked for President Barack Obama, is set to be inducted into the D230 Legacy Hall. Enyart, a graduate of Andrew High School, was nominated by
the District 230 Foundation for his contributions to the culinary arts. Despite not being an engaged student in high school, Enyart found his passion in cooking after graduation. He trained under renowned chef Rick Bayless and played a significant role in earning a Michelin star for Topolobampo. Enyart and his wife, Jennifer Jones, also a pastry chef, opened Dos Urban Cantina in 2015, which they ran until 2023. Enyart is currently the executive chef at Leña Brava and Cruz Blanca in Chicago.
