Minor Hotels, a global hospitality leader, has entered into a joint venture with SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises to expand its presence in Egypt. The agreement, signed in the presence of Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathi, aims to open and manage up to 50 hotels over the next decade. The development will cover key urban centers and leisure destinations such as West Cairo and Azha Ras El Hekma. Minor Hotels will manage seven projects, including operational hotels and new developments, and introduce its luxury brand, Anantara Hotels & Resorts, in Egypt. The partnership will also extend to Nile cruise operations, enhancing Egypt's tourism appeal.
