bone marrow to produce immune cells with stronger anti-tumor activity. This effect was observed in the innate immune system, which is the body's first line of defense against abnormal cells. The study, published in Cell Reports, suggests that yeast beta-glucan could potentially restore immune functions disrupted by obesity, although human trials are necessary to confirm these findings.
