Nathan Thomas, an 18-year-old educator, has set a Guinness World Record as the youngest male college professor. Thomas began teaching at Miami Dade College at the age of 18 years and 346 days, surpassing a 306-year-old record previously held by Colin
Maclaurin. Thomas, who has already earned bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering, teaches complex computing and programming courses. He is currently pursuing a law degree at the University of Miami while continuing to teach online courses. Thomas attributes his success to his early interest in STEM, influenced by his engineer parents, and his passion for teaching.
