Allen Control Systems, a U.S.-based company, has signed a contract with the Republic of Korea Armed Forces and the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces to supply Bullfrog autonomous remote weapon stations.
The contract includes provisions for operator training, technical assistance, and maintenance. The Bullfrog system comes in four variants, each equipped with different types of machine guns and cannons. These weapon stations are capable of engaging unmanned aircraft systems and have high pointing accuracy. Despite being fully autonomous, the system allows for human oversight and can be operated remotely.
