What's Happening?
Mercy Corps, a non-religious, non-profit international humanitarian organization, is inviting expressions of interest for the construction of solar power cold storages in Kandahar City, Dand, and Daman districts of Kandahar, as well as Nadali in Helmand.
The initiative aims to enhance storage facilities in these regions, potentially improving local infrastructure and economic conditions. Interested suppliers are required to complete an Intent to Bid (ITB) Form, which can be downloaded online or picked up at Mercy Corps offices in Kabul, Kandahar, and Herat. The completed forms must be submitted by August 16, 2026, either via email or in person. Following the submission deadline, a Request for Proposal will be sent to those who submitted the ITB forms, allowing them to proceed with the bidding process.
