The Snoopy House holiday event has returned to the Costa Mesa City Hall lawn, running nightly until December 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This event features Peanuts-inspired lights and decorations,
photo opportunities with Santa Claus, train rides, and stage performances. Food vendors such as Dezzertaholic, Family Pizza, and Dragon Dog are available for attendees. The event pays homage to the original Snoopy House display created in 1966 by then-Mayor Willard Jordan and his family. Additionally, VEA Newport Beach is hosting a 'Holiday Hideout' lounge through December 31, offering cocktails and seasonal snacks. The Fashion Island menorah lighting ceremony will kick off Hanukkah festivities, marking 25 years of partnership with the Chabad Center for Jewish Life. Newport Beach City Council has appointed Lauren Kleiman as the new mayor, and the Laguna Community Concert Band will perform a Holiday Concert on December 14.
