The Redemptorists' Baltimore Province is set to merge with other Redemptorist communities in Denver, Mexico, and Vietnam to form a new North American province. This reorganization, effective January 2027, aims to consolidate resources and strengthen the order's
mission across the continent. The new province will be named the Seelos Province of North America, honoring Blessed Francis X. Seelos, a Redemptorist priest known for his work in Baltimore and other regions. Despite the structural changes, the Redemptorists plan to maintain their presence in Baltimore, continuing their ministry and outreach efforts in the area.
