What's Happening?
We Explore Earth, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting individual well-being and environmental stewardship, hosted a free full-moon hike in Elysian Park, Los Angeles. The event, which occurs monthly, includes a short hike, yoga, a sound bath, and telescope viewing. Founder William Vazquez aims to make outdoor spaces more inclusive, especially for beginners. The gatherings are open to all ages and experience levels and are substance-free. The hikes are typically one mile up and one mile down, followed by 30 minutes of yoga and a 30-minute sound bath under the rising moon. The event attracts many first-timers, with RSVP numbers capped at 100, though turnout usually lands between 50 and 60 participants.
