Mahindra launched a brand-new all-electric 7-seater SUV, ‘XEV 9S’ which is designed especially for big Indian families and growing lifestyles. This EV is priced from Rs 19.95 lakh and is offered in 3 packs-
PACK ONE ABOVE (59, 79 kWh), PACK TWO ABOVE (70, 79 kWh) and PACK THREE (79 kWh).
Booking And Deliveries
Mahindra XEV 9S preference selection starts from 14 December 2025 and test drives start from 5 January 2026. The bookings open from 14 January 2026 and the deliveries start from 23 January 2026.
Variants And Pricing
Mahindra is offering six variants, with prices starting at Rs 19.95 lakh and going up to Rs 29.45 lakh for the fully-loaded Pack Three.
Space, Comfort and Technology
According to Mahindra, 'space’ is the most preferred feature for Indian families nowadays. and the XEV 9S has been created to offer this in a modern, electric-first package.
Built on Mahindra’s advanced INGLO platform, the SUV has an extremely spacious interior with 4076 litres of cabin space, roomy seating across all three rows and the segment’s best luggage options with rear boot up to 527 litres and front trunk (Frunk) 150 litres.
The design also follows Mahindra’s “Heartcore” styling with a clean premium look, LED lighting, a panoramic skyroof and a quiet refined cabin.

Performance
The XEV 9S offers multiple battery packs, including a big 79 kWh option, but the highlight is the new 70 kWh battery, which delivers 180 kW power with 380 Nm torque and 500 km real-world driving range. The top model gets 210 kW power, which makes it the fastest 7-seater EV in its class with 0–100 km/h in just 7 seconds.
Due to Mahindra’s ‘MAIA’ which is Mahindra’s intelligent automotive brain, the SUV gets advanced tech like Level 2+ ADAS, driver drowsiness detection, secure 360 camera and VisionX AR HUD in higher variants.
