TVS Motor Company is stepping into the adventure motorcycle segment with the TVS Apache RTX 300, one of its most powerful bike in the Apache lineup. Priced at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory),
the new RTX 300 marks the brand’s entry into the fast-growing mid-capacity ADV space in India, positioning it against established rivals in the 300–400cc segment. Built on an all-new platform, the Apache RTX 300 features long-travel suspension, dual-purpose tyres, and advanced rider aids aimed at both on-road and off-road riding. With its launch, TVS is looking to expand its premium motorcycle portfolio and strengthen its presence in the performance biking category.

TVS Apache RTX 300 Adventure Bike: Variants And Price
The bike is available in three variants. The base variant retails for an introductory price of Rs 1.99 lakh. Meanwhile the top and the BTO variants are priced at Rs 2.14 lakh and 2.29 lakh, respectively. Prices are ex-showroom.
TVS Apache RTX 300 Adventure Bike: Design Cues
Design-wise, the RTX 300 reflects the adventure bike styling of TVS. It adorns a twin-LED headlamp, split-seat configuration, tall windscreen, beak-like fender, and sharp front fairing. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, fitted with dual-purpose tyres to make it capable on both highways and light off-road trails.
Built on a steel trellis frame, the bike is equipped with USD front forks and a rear monoshock tuned to handle uneven terrain. The bike can be had in five colour options: Viper Green, Tarn Bronze, Metallic Blue, Lightning Black, and Pearl White.
TVS Apache RTX 300 Adventure Bike: Mechanical Setup
Coming to the mechanical side of things, the new Apache RTX 300 is powered by the brand's new 299cc, liquid-cooled RT-XD4 engine. With this unit, the bike is capable of churning out 35 hp of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The transmission duties are taken care of by a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch for smooth gear shifts. Other performance elements comprise bi-directional quickshifter and ride-by-wire.
TVS Apache RTX 300 Adventure Bike: Feature Suite
In terms of features, you get a host of amenities in the form of traction control, a 5-inch TFT unit, cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, and anti-lock brake system (ABS) with Rally, Urban and Rain modes. The bluetooth connectivity enables hands-free voice and music control, GoPro control, map mirroring, Digi-doc transfer, and TPMS. The SmartXonnect app also offers features like last parked location, advanced ride analytics, vehicle info, and navigation assist.

With this launch, TVS has placed the RTX 300 against some of the most popular offerings in the segment, including the KTM 250 Adventure and the Yezdi Adventure. When it comes to price, the former retails for Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom), while the latter carries a price tag of Rs 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom).
