2026 Jeep Meridian With Sliding Second-Row Seats Launched In India at Rs 30.01 Lakh

Jeep India has officially introduced the 2026 Jeep Meridian with sliding second-row seats with prices starting at Rs 30.01 lakh (ex-showroom) for variants equipped with this feature. The sliding second-row seats is a feature that

directly improves comfort and flexibility when all seven seats are in use. The overall Meridian range continues to start from Rs 23.33 lakh and bookings are now open.

2026 Jeep Meridian - Sliding Second-Row Seats

In the 2026 Meridian, the second row can slide by up to 140 mm which allows car owners to choose between more legroom for second and third row passengers or extra boot space when needed.

Jeep has introduced this feature on select variants, including the Limited and Overland trims. The second row also offers improved comfort with a 23-degree torso angle and an additional 12-degree recline. For easy access to the third row, the seats can slide forward with a wide tilt which makes entry and exit smoother for passengers.

The 2026 Jeep Meridian continues to offer a premium cabin that focuses on comfort and luxury as key highlights include a large panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control and 12-way power-adjustable front seats with ventilation. The interiors use premium upholstery and soft-touch materials, which creates a refined feel across all three rows.

The Meridian comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. These features are supported by Uconnect connected technology which offers over 30 connected features such as remote vehicle controls and real-time vehicle health updates.

2026 Jeep Meridian - Safety and Performance

Safety remains one of the Meridian’s strongest points as the SUV comes with over 70 active and passive safety features, including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) on selected variants.

The Meridian is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine which produces 170 HP and 350 Nm of torque. Paired with Jeep’s Selec-Terrain 4x4 system, it delivers strong performance both on highways and rough roads, while offering an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of up to 16.25 km/l.
