It now has a starting price of Rs 5.49 lakh ex-showroom.
2. Renault Kiger:
The Renault Kiger is another compact SUV that is now priced under Rs 7 lakh, thanks to the recent GST price cuts. The Kiger's base three variants are now priced at under Rs 7 lakhs and these include an AMT automatic variant. Between the Authentic MT, Evolution MT and Evolution AMT variants, the Kiger is now priced between Rs 5.76 lakh to Rs 6.95 lakh ex-showroom.
3. Maruti Suzuki Fronx:
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is also more accessible after the GST-induced price cuts. Prices for the base Sigma MT variant have been revised to Rs 6.85 lakh ex-showroom. It gets the 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It also gets halogen projector headlamps, hill hold assist, 6 airbags and more.
4. Hyundai Exter:
The Hyundai Exter is also a popular compact SUV that comes under the Rs 7 lakh budget for its select variants. The base MT EX and MT EX(O) variants are now cheaper at Rs 5.48 lakh and Rs 5.99 lakh ex-showroom, respectively. Both offer Hyundai's tried and tested 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine and a decent amount of creature comforts.
5. Nissan Magnite:
The Magnite is Nissan's rival in the competitive compact SUV segment. It offers competitive pricing, good build quality and an extensive variant list to choose from. After the recent GST price cuts, the Magnite Visia, Visia+ and Acenta variants are now priced under Rs 7 lakh. The starting prices range between Rs 5.61 lakh to Rs 6.66 lakh ex-showroom.
