MG Motor has unveiled its newest flagship SUV in India the MG Majestor. Designed for buyers who want size, strength and sophistication in one package, the Majestor brings together luxury car comforts and serious off-road ability in a way that will grab attention.
First Impression
The MG Majestor rides on 19-inch alloy wheels that look muscular and planted. Its size alone gives it that “big car” appeal that many Indian buyers look for in a premium SUV. MG will offer the Majestor in four colour options and in both 6 and 7 seater configurations.Interior
From the inside, Majestor feels like a luxury lounge on wheels. The second-row seats are ventilated, making long drives far more comfortable. Above you is a panoramic sunroof that adds light and a sense of openness to the cabin.The driver’s seat is 12-way powered and comes with a memory function, so it automatically adjusts to your preferred seating position. There is also 3-zone automatic climate control which allows passengers in different rows to set their own temperature.
It comes with the JBL surround sound system with 12 speakers with 64-colour ambient lighting and you can change the cabin mood depending on your vibe. Other practical touches include a powered tailgate for easy luggage access and dual wireless
chargers.

Technology
The Majestor comes loaded with modern technology as it features a large 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster (MID) and a multi-function steering wheel. A column-mounted gear shifter frees up space in the centre console.
MG’s i-SMART 2.0 connected car system offers over 70 connected features, which will allow owners to control and monitor the vehicle through their smartphone. Looking at the safety, this SUV comes standard with six airbags, a 360-degree camera for easier parking, and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
Built
MG Majestor is equipped with a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing 220 PS. It also features the M-HUB 4X4 Suite and a Smart 4X4 Command Centre that offers advanced four-wheel-drive capability.Drivers can switch between Auto 2H, 4H and 4L modes. The system can automatically switch between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive when needed, but drivers can also manually select modes. There are dedicated terrain modes like - Normal, Sand, Rock and Snow, along with 10 off-road modes in total.
The Majestor also offers a segment-first triple differential lock, which helps maintain traction on extreme terrain. The Intelligent M-Crawl low-speed off-road assist system makes tricky off-road driving easier. With 810mm water wading capacity, this SUV is built to tackle flooded roads and streams confidently.
Variants, Booking and Warranty Details
The MG Majestor will be available in three variants - SHARP 4X4, SAVVY 4X2 and SAVVY 4X4. Pre-bookings have opened at Rs 41,000.MG is offering ownership benefits including a 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty, 5-year roadside assistance (RSA) and 5-year labour-free service. Early buyers will also get priority deliveries.
The official price announcement is scheduled for April 2026, with deliveries set to begin in May 2026.
With its mix of luxury features, cutting-edge technology and genuine off-road capability, the MG Majestor is gearing up to be one of the most talked-about SUV launches of 2026.
