Land Rover has refreshed its Discovery lineup for 2026 with the launch of two new special editions: the Tempest and Gemini. Priced from Rs 1.26 crore (ex-showroom), the new variants bring richer interiors
and upgraded features.
The Tempest Edition is the more premium of the two, featuring a Graphite Atlas gloss grille with a new hexagonal pattern and 22-inch dual-tone alloy wheels finished in Petra Copper. Matching roof accents, unique ‘Discovery’ badging, and silver-finished door sill plates complete the look. There’s also a bespoke puddle lamp that projects the Tempest symbol when you unlock the SUV.

You can choose from three paint finishes: Carpathian Grey, Varesine Blue, and Charente Grey. Inside, the Tempest offers a choice of three interior themes: all-black Ebony, warm Caraway with a Light Oyster headliner, or a Light Oyster and Ebony combination. The materials and colour coordination give the cabin a more upmarket and tailored appearance.
Serving as the new entry point into the Discovery range, the Gemini Edition takes a simpler but still elegant approach. It comes with a glossy black roof, 21-inch silver alloy wheels, and silver skid plates with twin hexagonal motifs. The grille too gets a silver finish. In addition to the Tempest colour options, the Gemini adds Sedona Red to its palette while dropping Charente Grey. The cabin can be optioned with either fabric or leatherette upholstery, in the same interior colour themes as the Tempest Edition.

Under the hood, both versions share the 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbocharged mild-hybrid diesel engine that produces 345 bhp. The setup is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and Land Rover’s signature all-wheel-drive system. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.3 seconds, making it one of the quickest SUVs in its class.
Both editions feature an 11.4-inch infotainment display, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 12-speaker Meridian sound system, and a 360-degree camera. The Tempest goes a step further with a 14-speaker Meridian system, head-up display, powered third-row seats, heated steering wheel, and four-zone climate control.
