Maruti Suzuki has raised prices across most Baleno variants with immediate effect as part of a broader hike covering several models in its lineup. The revision isn't uniform since four specific variants go up by Rs 7,500 and most others by Rs 5,000. Interestingly, the entry-level Sigma petrol manual stays exactly where it was at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). If you're comparing the Maruti Suzuki Baleno against its formidable rivals like the Hyundai i20 or Tata Altroz right now, knowing which variant saw how much hike matters before you get a final quote at your nearest Nexa showroom.
Which Variants Got the Biggest Hike?
Four variants took the sharpest increase of Rs 7,500 each: the Delta CNG MT, Zeta CNG MT, Alpha petrol MT and Alpha petrol AMT. That's the mid-to-upper end of the petrol manual
range and the CNG trims getting squeezed harder than the rest.
It's worth flagging for CNG buyers specifically — both CNG variants, the Delta and Zeta have gone up by the maximum Rs 7,500 which compounds with the fact that CNG trims already sit higher in the range to begin with.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno: Variant-wise Prices
The full revised price range now runs from Rs 5.99 lakh for the Sigma petrol manual at the base, all the way to Rs 9.17 lakh at the top (all prices are ex-showroom). The Sigma variant is the only one left unchanged by this revision. All remaining variants — whether petrol manual, petrol AMT or CNG — have moved up by either Rs 5,000 or Rs 7,500 depending on trim. That puts the Baleno's floor at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This means Rs 4,000 less than the nearest rival Hyundai i20 which starts at Rs 6.00 lakh (ex-showroom) though that gap now narrows further with this update. Here's the complete ex-showroom price list.
- Maruti Baleno Sigma MT: Rs 5,98,900
- Maruti Baleno Delta MT: Rs 6,84,900
- Maruti Baleno Delta AGS: Rs 7,34,900
- Maruti Baleno Zeta MT: Rs 7,77,400
- Maruti Baleno Delta CNG: Rs 7,77,400
- Maruti Baleno Zeta AGS: Rs 8,24,900
- Maruti Baleno Zeta CNG MT: Rs 8,67,400
- Maruti Baleno Apha MT: Rs 8,67,400
- Maruti Baleno Alpha AGS: Rs 9,17,400
This is the second time in 2026 that Maruti Suzuki has revised Baleno prices and it follows similar hikes on the Swift, Dzire, Ertiga as well as Jimny over the past few months. The pattern suggests that the brand is managing rising input costs by spreading revisions across the lineup over time instead of implementing a single large hike. For buyers who've been sitting on a Baleno decision, it's worth locking in before any further round of hikes especially if you're looking at the Alpha or CNG variants.
