Hyundai India recently launched the new-generation model of its Venue compact SUV in India. The 2026 Venue gets a redesigned exterior and interior, it comes with three engine options and transmission options and offers segment-leading features such as curved panoramic displays, Level 2 ADAS safety functions and more. With prices starting at Rs 7.89 lakh ex-showroom, the Venue has been available in eight different variants, however, the carmaker has just sweetened the pot for buyers who are looking to purchase an SUV on a budget.
That is because Hyundai India has now announced a ninth variant for the Venue lineup, which offers extra goodies for buyers of the mid-level variants. The new HX5+ variant now offers Venue HX5 buyers the option of getting
quad beam LED headlamps, roof rails, rear window sunshades, wireless charger, driver armrest, rear wiper and washer and driver power window with auto up and down function with the economical 1.2-litre, Kappa petrol engine and manual transmission combination. The HX5+ variant is priced at Rs 9,99,900 ex-showroom, making it approximately Rs 85,000 more expensive than the standard HX5 variant, which is currently priced at Rs 9.15 lakh ex-showroom.
The new HX5+ variant is aimed at buyers who want a feature-rich option, under Rs 10 lakh budget, with the combination of the non-turbo petrol engine and manual transmission. Additionally, Hyundai has also updated the Venue HX4 variant with a height adjustment function for the driver's seat. Prices for the HX4 variant start from Rs 8.80 lakh ex-showroom. With the new HX5+, the Venue lineup has now been expanded to nine different variants that are priced between Rs 7.98 lakh and Rs 15.69 lakh ex-showroom, with the option of two petrol and one diesel engine. The Venue also has the option of three different transmissions that include a manual and two automatics.

Moreover, Hyundai has also launched a sportier version of the standard Venue SUV, called the Venue N Line. The N Line version comes exclusively with the 1.0-litre Kappa turbo-petrol engine and offers the option for going for a manual or a DCT automatic between two variant lines called N6 and N10. Prices for the sportier Venue N Line start from Rs 10.55 lakh ex-showroom.
