Engine and Mileage
The biggest change in the 2025 Swift is the engine as Maruti has introduced a new 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine which replaced the older 4-cylinder K-series unit. This engine is designed to be more fuel-efficient and cleaner while still offering smooth performance. It delivers 80 bhp at 5,700 rpm and 111.7 Nm torque at 4,300 rpm. The engine is paired with 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT (automatic) transmission and delivers the mileage of 24.8 kmpl in manual and 25.75 kmpl in automatic.
If you would like to opt for a more fuel efficient option then the CNG version is also available. It delivers 70 bhp of power and 32.85 km/kg mileage, which makes it one of the most fuel-efficient cars in this segment.
Design
The 2025 Swift looks more sportier and more modern while keeping its familiar compact charm intact. However it is slightly longer than before, with 3860 mm length, 1735 mm width and 1520 mm height. It has 2450 mm of wheelbase and 163 mm ground clearance. This car offers 265 liters of boot space and 37 liters fuel tank.

Safety
The new Swift comes with 6 airbags as standard, along with ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist and ISOFIX child seat mounts. Higher trims get a rear parking camera and speed alerts as well.
Features and Comfort
From the inside the cabin has been redesigned with comfort and technology as the priority. A 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is available in the top variants, supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while mid-variants get a 7-inch screen. The car also offers features like - automatic climate control, cruise control, wireless phone charger and push-button start/stop.
From the outside, the 2025 Swift now gets LED headlights and DRLs, along with 15-inch alloy wheels on the higher trims.
