TVS has officially teased an exciting new model for EICMA 2025. It is believed that this machine may have something to do with BMW’s 450cc architecture. In the teaser, a somewhat stylised silhouette carries
some rather rugged design elements along with the signature TVS badging, all set to unleash an adventure or dual-purpose motorcycle. Early indicators and industry reports suggest that this new TVS bike might use the BMW F 450 GS platform. This would certainly be a strategic move upward in enhancing TVS's performance credentials and strengthening its export aspirations. Here’s what the clues suggest so far.

New TVS Bike: What The Teaser Reveals
The teaser shows a sharply designed headlamp section, high-mounted fenders, and elevated handlebar geometry, which are all indicators of its adventure-ready design. Though TVS’s social media post does not confirm any name, the image speaks volumes about aggressive styling and off-road features. The silhouette teases a meaty fuel tank, sprightly exhaust lines, and a tough underbody shell-all things that would sit right at home on a 450cc model purported to be built for street-and-trail performance.
Why The BMW 450cc Platform Is A Strong Candidate
Several industry reports indicate that TVS will likely use the BMW F 450 GS platform as a base for its upcoming model. The partnership between BMW and TVS already underpins smaller models, and stepping up to a shared 450cc architecture would help reduce R&D time and improve compatibility for global markets. The engine of the F 450 GS, its chassis design, and modular characteristics would be an excellent starting point for an adventure or street-touring motorcycle branded under TVS.
New TVS Bike: Expected Proportions And Performance
Assuming the BMW 450cc core, the new TVS model could deliver around 45–55 hp with torque in the 45–50 Nm range. Suspension is likely to be long-travel, with 43 mm upside-down forks and off-road–ready monoshocks. Braking may involve twin 320 mm discs upfront and a single rear rotor, supported by at least dual-channel ABS with an off-road ABS mode. Expect wire-spoke wheels, 19- or 21-inch front wheel setup, and knobby tyre profiles.

New TVS Bike: Market Role And Competitive Strategy
The new model is expected to sit above TVS’s present ADV lineup and fight in the 450cc mid-cap segment against KTM, Royal Enfield, and Honda. This may also be a global export variant that will help widen TVS’s market scope. To get early market momentum, TVS may play the price card very aggressively in markets where BMW and KTM are considered premium benchmarks.
