Tata Motors has just launched their entry-level SUV 2026 Tata Punch which is a facelift version and is priced from Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata has turned it into one of the most feature-packed cars
in its segment which offers technology and safety features usually seen in expensive cars.

One of the biggest highlights is that the new Punch becomes India’s first AMT CNG SUV, due to Tata’s iCNG twin-cylinder technology paired with an automatic transmission.
The Punch also introduces a powerful iTurbo 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which delivers 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed transmission and this gives it the best power-to-weight ratio in the segment.
2026 Tata Punch Facelift - Best-in-Segment Technology and Comfort
Tata has loaded the Punch facelift with features like a large 26.03 cm (10.25-inch) HD infotainment touchscreen, which is the biggest in its class, along with a 17.78 cm HD digital instrument cluster, another segment-first.

Comfort has also been upgraded significantly as the Punch now offers Clima Touch automatic temperature control, extended thigh support seats, a rear armrest, wireless smartphone charging, and galaxy ambient lighting. There’s also a 65W front Type-C USB charger, which can charge modern smartphones very quickly.
2026 Tata Punch Facelift - Safety
Tata calls Punch’s safety, a “Safety Dome” which offers 80+ safety features. These include iTPMS (tyre pressure monitoring) as standard, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control and a 360-degree HD surround view system with blind view monitor. The Punch also gets auto-dimming IRVM, rain-sensing wipers, Follow Me Home lamps, SOS calling with E-Call and B-Call and command entry with 90-degree door opening.
