Battery and range
The highlight of this series is the upgraded 3.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is now capable of delivering a certified range of 153 km on a single charge for the Chetak 3501 and 3502. Charging the scooter to 80% takes around 3 to 3.5 hours using a standard charger, while optional fast charging can cut that time.
The Chetak can reach a top speed of 73 km/h, which makes it perfect for
daily commutes and short city rides. Riders can switch between Eco and Sport modes, balancing performance and efficiency as per rider’s needs.

Technology and features
Bajaj has made technology a central part of the new Chetak experience, as the scooter now includes a 5.5-inch color TFT touchscreen display, which offers call and message alerts, navigation and even music controls when paired with your phone via Bluetooth.
The advanced Chetak app gives riders real-time updates about their scooter, including battery status, live location, anti-theft alerts and ride statistics. Some variants also come equipped with the TecPac software suite which unlocks features like Hill Hold Assist, Over-Speed Alerts, Sequential Blinkers, Keyless Access and even Voice Commands for hands-free control.
Comfort, Design and Safety
The new Chetak continues Bajaj’s focus on durability with its all-metal body which gives it a premium and sturdy look. Its 35-litre under-seat storage and 5-litre glovebox offer good space for helmets and essentials.
Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers which ensures a smooth ride on bumpy roads. Safety has also been enhanced with front disc and rear drum brakes, anti-skid tires and a side-stand cut-off feature.
