Recent spy shots of the Thar facelift clearly indicate a significant interior revamp ahead of the SUV's official launch. The 3-door Thar is redesigned and borrows several features from the Thar Roxx, among which there is a new three-spoke steering wheel and a bigger infotainment touchscreen measuring 10.25 inches replacing an older, smaller unit. Other interior upgrades are door-mounted power window switches, wireless charger in centre console, grab handles along A-pillars, and front armrest with dual cup holders. All these will improve ergonomics and usability without tampering with the core structure and powertrain of the vehicle.

What’s New Inside The Facelifted Thar
The Thar facelift keeps its smart all-black cabin theme but adds some features for improved driver comfort and functionality. The new 10.25-inch touchscreen now supports a more contemporary user interface, while a revamped three-spoke steering wheel falls in line with the styling of the Roxx variant. Controls for windows have been relocated onto doors just as seen in higher trim models; hence, they are easier to use and find. Other features that help in daily usage include wireless charging and better armrests.
Thar Facelift: Exterior And Mechanicals Remain Largely Unchanged
The Thar keeps its bold look and adds some key changes. The front grille has been made over to match the Thar Roxx’s stacked vertical grille. Expected exterior upgrades comprise LED headlights, new bumpers as well as changes to the spare wheel cover. On the mechanical side of things, engine choices remain a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit plus two diesel options (1.5-litre and 2.2-litre). Manuals will come with all models; automatics for select petrol and diesel variants.

What It Means For Buyers
These interior upgrades portray a clear message towards enriching Thar’s desirability while preserving a fundamental character as an off-roader. Therefore, the facelift may add greater comfort, increased usability, and modern tech for prospective buyers without altering expected dimensions, power, or drivetrain options available with the vehicle. Launch is expected in the next few weeks.
