Suzuki has rolled out the 2026 update for the Hayabusa, giving its flagship sport tourer a round of subtle changes. While the legendary 1,340cc inline-four heart remains unchanged, Suzuki has fine-tuned
the electronics and introduced a new Special Edition for the new model year.
At its core, the 2026 Hayabusa continues to deliver 190 hp and 150 Nm of torque, but Suzuki has made key software-level tweaks to make that power easier to use. The selectable throttle maps have been recalibrated to deliver stronger torque at lower revs, improving acceleration during everyday rides and long-distance touring. Owners will notice smoother throttle response when navigating traffic or cornering through winding roads.

The brand has also reworked the cruise control system, which now stays active during gearshifts when using the bi-directional quickshifter—something frequent tourers will appreciate. Launch control has been refined for sharper getaways, and the conventional battery has been replaced with a compact lithium-ion unit to shave off a bit of weight.
For 2026, Suzuki UK is also offering an optional Akrapovic exhaust system at a special discounted rate to buyers in the UK. Visually, the big news is the new Special Edition Hayabusa, finished in an eye-catching blue and white dual-tone scheme. It features a 3D Suzuki emblem, a unique Special Edition badge on the tank, and comes with a seat cowl fitted as standard.

In the UK, the 2026 Hayabusa is priced at £18,599 on the road (roughly Rs 21.55 lakh). Suzuki hasn’t confirmed if or when this updated version will come to India, but given the model’s popularity here, an announcement could follow soon. If launched, expect it to carry a small premium over the current India-spec version, which retails for Rs 18.06 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
