Carmakers are all set to launch five new SUV models in India by the end of January 2026 and the launch of the much-anticipated Skoda Kushaq facelift will get the ball rolling on January 20. The Kushaq has been around, largely unchanged, since it first launched in 2021. For 2026, Skoda has announced the arrival of the first major generational upgrade of the SUV and the latest teaser gives us a glimpse into the LED elements that will be featured on the front and back. Here's what we know so far.
As we can see in the teaser, the 2026 Skoda Kushaq will get a completely revamped front and rear design. The visuals show a connected LED DRL bar element on the front that extends into a T-shape on either side. This also hints towards the Kushaq having
a pair of LED headlamps that would accentuate the front fascia with a traditional high-set position. A closer inspection also reveals the Skoda logo placed on the front centre of a well sculpted hood panel and a front grille, finished in glossy black.
The connected LED elements continue at the rear end of the new Kushaq as well. The LED taillamps will be connected and the Skoda lettering will be integrated into the lightbar to give a distinct look this time around. The teaser also gives a hint towards an olive green or dark grey shade that we expect to launch with the new SUV as a new introduction.

While the Kushaq is expected to offer the same 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI turbo-petrol engine options with the manual and two automatic transmission selections, Skoda has probably updated the features list to suit customer needs in the segment. We expect the new Kushaq to offer a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree parking camera, Level 2 ADAS safety functions, and more, while still being priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 20 lakh.
