Yamaha Motor India has officially launched the all-new XSR155 in India, adding a new chapter in the brand’s Modern Retro Sport lineup. Priced at Rs 1,49,990 (ex-showroom Delhi) as an introductory offer,
this motorcycle combines vintage styling with modern performance and technology which appeals to both new riders and bike enthusiasts.
The Yamaha XSR155 draws inspiration from the global XSR series, which is known for blending timeless design with advanced engineering. It carries signature retro elements such as a round LED headlamp and taillight, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a minimalist LCD digital display. Its compact and lightweight body paired with 17-inch alloy wheels gives it a sporty yet accessible stance perfect for city rides or open-road adventures.
Yamaha offers the XSR155 in four colour options - Metallic Grey, Vivid Red, Greyish Green Metallic and Metallic Blue. To let riders express their individuality, the brand also provides two unique customization kits - Scrambler and Café Racer - allowing owners to tailor the look and feel of their bikes.

Power and Performance
Under the retro-styled body, the XSR155 packs Yamaha’s trusted 155cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, producing 13.5 kW of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. This is the same high-performance engine seen in the popular Yamaha R15, offering smooth power delivery and spirited performance.
It also features Yamaha’s Deltabox frame, an aluminium swingarm, upside-down front forks and a monocross rear suspension - all designed to deliver stability and agility. The assist and slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, and traction control ensure an efficient and safe riding experience. This bike is now available in India and the XSR155 invites riders to experience a new way of motorcycling.
