Honda has introduced a new black colour option for the Amaze in India for the first time. The compact sedan is now available in the “Crystal Black Pearl” shade across all variants: V, VX, and ZX. The company had previously avoided offering black colour options on its newer models in the Indian market.
The introduction of the Crystal Black Pearl colour follows growing customer demand for darker shades and the increasing popularity of “dark” or “black” editions introduced by rival brands. Earlier this year, Honda added a black option to the Elevate SUV.
Mechanically, the Amaze remains unchanged. It is powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 90 hp and 110 Nm of peak torque. You can choose between a five-speed manual transmission
or a CVT automatic. This engine-transmission setup continues to be the only powertrain option in the Amaze line-up.

All variants come equipped with six airbags, front seatbelt pre-tensioners, ISOFIX child seat anchors, brake assist, traction control, vehicle stability assist, and hill start assist as standard. Higher-spec variants also feature Honda Sensing, the company’s Level 2 ADAS suite, which adds advanced driver-assistance functions.
Inside, the Amaze continues to offer a 7-inch full-colour TFT display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The cabin layout and equipment list remain unchanged aside from the new colour option.
