Powering the bike is a 123.94cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled SI engine. It produces 11 hp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and uses a self-start system, making it simple to operate even for new riders. Honda claims a mileage of 48 km/l for the CB125 Hornet.
