The Maruti Suzuki Swift prices have been increased in the country. So, now interested buyers have to shell out more money for the hatchback. The price hike is reflected across petrol and CNG, as well as both manual and AMT variants. That said, the entry-level price remains unchanged at Rs 5.78 lakh (ex-showroom). While the model is now slightly more expensive, it continues to offer the same powertrain options and features. There are no cosmetic changes, and the hatchback continues with the same styling. Maruti Suzuki Swift Prices Increased: Which Models Are Affected?
The price increase on the Swift hatchback ranges from nominal to significant, based on the variant selected. The entry-level Swift LXi has seen no price hike. However, the mid-spec petrol and AMT variants,
including the VXi, VXi (O), VXi AMT, VXi (O) AMT, ZXi MT, and ZXi AMT, have become costlier by about Rs 3,900 each. The CNG variants, such as VXi CNG, VXi (O) CNG, and ZXi CNG, on the other hand, have seen a higher hike of approximately Rs 7,400 over their previous prices. The top-spec ZXi+ MT and ZXi+ AMT variants see the steepest increase of around Rs 18,900. Here's a look at new variant-wise prices.

VXi MT: Rs 6.62 lakh
VXi (O) MT: at Rs 6.88 lakh
VXi AMT: Rs 7.07 lakh

ZXi AMT: Rs 8.01 lakh.

CNG Prices
VXi CNG: Rs 7.52 lakh
VXi (O) CNG: at Rs 7.78 lakh
ZXi CNG: Rs 8.46 lakh

Maruti Suzuki Swift: Key Specs Remain Unchanged
Mechanically, the Swift continues to draw its power from a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 80.46bhp and 111.7Nm. The unit can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. It also offers a CNG option. As for the mileage, the petrol manual transmission (MT) variant offers a claimed mileage of 24.80km/l, while the automated manual transmission (AMT) version is slightly more efficient at 25.75km/l. The factory-fitted CNG variant returns 32.85 km/kg.
