Hero MotoCorp has officially entered the Italian two-wheeler market through a distribution partnership with Pelpi International. With this move, Italy becomes Hero’s 49th international market. The company
plans to introduce its Euro 5+ compliant motorcycles across major cities through an initial network of 36 dealers, expanding to 54 in the next phase. Hero’s expansion strategy aligns with its broader push to strengthen its European presence with motorcycles tailored to meet EU regulations.

Pelpi International To Handle Distribution
Pelpi International, a key player in Italy’s two-wheeler distribution space, will oversee sales, service, and spare parts support for Hero MotoCorp. Backed by a network of 160+ outlets, the company is expected to play a critical role in establishing Hero’s retail footprint in Italy. The brand’s launch will initially focus on three models: the Hunk 440, Xpulse 200 4V, and Xpulse 200 4V Pro.
Hero Hunk 440: Mid-Size Naked Motorcycle For Europe
The Hunk 440 enters the L3e−A2 performance category, designed for both daily commuting and highway riding. It delivers 27 hp at 6000 rpm and 36 Nm at 4000 rpm, meeting Euro 5+ norms. Features include a trellis frame, dual-channel ABS, USD KYB forks, 320 mm front and 240 mm rear discs, full-digital TFT display with navigation, and LED lighting. It is priced at 3,990 Euros (around Rs 4.09 lakh) (including VAT) and offered in Twilight Blue and Phantom Black.
Hero Xpulse 200 4V, Xpulse 200 4V Pro: Lightweight Adventure Machines
The Xpulse lineup caters to touring and light off-roading. The 4V Pro variant produces 18.9 hp and 17.35 Nm torque and comes with long-travel suspension, three ABS modes (Road, Off-road, Rally), LED projector lamps, Bluetooth navigation, and a digital LCD console. The Xpulse 200 4V is priced at 2,990 Euros (about Rs 3.07 lakh) and the Pro variant at 3,190 Euros (roughly Rs 3.27 lakh). These bikes are available in Matte Nexus Blue and Pearl Fadeless White, respectively.

Launch Strategy And Warranty
Hero MotoCorp is offering a 3-year standard warranty and an additional 2-year launch offer, bringing total coverage to 5 years. Pelpi International will ensure sales and service support across key Italian cities, targeting growth through a phased retail expansion.
