If you are looking to buy your first electric car but need a roomy vehicle that can take care of daily commutes and also serve as a family road trip companion, then your options have largely been limited till now. Currently, we have options like the Kia Clavis EV and the BYD exam 9 that fulfill the above criteria but do not offer an SUV attitude, instead, they lean towards the electric MPV segment. However, things are soon to change in the electric 7-seater space as Mahindra is gearing up to launch the all-new XEV 9S in the Indian market. Here are five exciting features that have been confirmed for the upcoming electric SUV based on the teaser visuals.

1. XEV 9S With Three Screen Layout:
The Mahindra XEV 9S
will feature a three-screen layout for the dashboard. These will include the digital driver information display, central infotainment touchscreen and an additional entertainment screen for the front passenger. It is expected to be identical to the layout that we have earlier seen in the Mahindra XEV 9e SUV.
2. Front Memory Seats In XEV 9S:
The teaser visuals also confirm that the upcoming XEV 9S will feature memory function for the front seats with up to three position presets. While the visuals confirm he feature for the driver's seat, we can presume that it will be offered for the front passenger seat as well.
3. XEV 9S With Adjustable 2nd Row:
Another highlight of the 7-seater XEV 9S would be the second row bench that can be adjusted to extend the front legroom or make more space for the third row.
4. Panoramic Moon Roof In XEV 9S:
Another key highlight that we can see in the teaser visuals is the presence of a panoramic moon roof that we have seen before in the XEV 9e. This feature could also get illuminated inlays to amp up the ambience inside the SUV.
5. XEV 9S Gets Harmon Kardon Audio:
Mahindra will also be taking care of buyers who are fans of high-end audio. The XEV 9S will feature a Harman Kardon audio system to complement the three-screen layout and deliver high-quality entertainment options. We expect it to also feature a Dolby Atmos audio signature for an immersive experience.
The teaser visuals have also confirmed that the XEV 9S will get a front-end inspired by the XEV 9e, which includes the quad-LED headlamp setup and the connected LED DRLs. At the rear, the visual reveals that the XEV 9S design will be inspired by the XUV 700 ICE model. The new electric 7-seater will be unveiled on Novemebr 27 in India.
