Honda Dio 125 X Edition has been launched in India as a refreshed variant of the existing Dio 125 lineup, combining revised styling with existing engine and equipment. It carries an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 87,733. Launched just a few days after the unveiling, the Dio 125 X Edition carries a dual-tone paint scheme with distinctive X-Edition graphics and contrasting alloy wheels, aimed at giving it a more youthful appearance than standard versions. The scooter continues to use the same core hardware, features and powertrain setups seen on higher-spec trims of the Dio 125, offering a familiar package with updated looks for city riders.

Honda Dio 125 X Edition: Design And Visual Changes
The Dio 125 X Edition stands out primarily
through its dual-tone exterior finish, combining Pearl Siren Blue with Pearl Deep Ground Gray and bold decals that underscore its special edition status. Contrasting alloy wheels and updated graphics on the body panels further distinguish this variant from regular models. While the fundamental body shape and scooter architecture remain unchanged, the refreshed design elements provide a visual identity tailored toward buyers who prefer a sportier aesthetic without alterations to the underlying cycle parts.
Honda Dio 125 X Edition: Features And Equipment
Mechanically identical to the top-end H-Smart variant of the Dio 125, the X Edition includes a fully digital TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth support, and turn-by-turn navigation capabilities. Additional features retained from the H-Smart base include a USB Type-C charging port, idle stop-start system, external fuel filler, pass switch as well as a side-stand engine cutoff. Brake hardware consists of a front disc and rear drum setup, whereas suspension and chassis components mirror the standard configuration.

Honda Dio 125 X Edition: Powertrain And Technical Continuity
The Dio 125 X Edition uses the same 123.92 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that powers the existing Dio 125 range. This engine continues to produce 8.19 hp of maximum power and 10.5 Nm of torque, with no changes to fuel delivery, cooling or transmission systems. The continuity of the powertrain and mechanical layout ensures that ride quality, fuel efficiency and maintenance requirements remain consistent with the established Dio 125 platform.
