Nissan Motor India has expanded its CNG retrofitment program to the Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT), giving compact-SUV buyers a factory-approved path to lower running costs without switching fuel types at purchase. The Government-approved kit is dealer-installed, covered by a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty, and priced at Rs 71,999 after the GST rate cut (passed on to customers). Nissan has also re-engineered the refuelling experience with an integrated CNG filling point behind the standard fuel lid, replacing the earlier engine-bay connector for quicker, cleaner top-ups. Rollout follows strong uptake of the Magnite MT retrofit earlier this year.

What’s New With Magnite: AMT Compatibility And Integrated Fuel Lid
The big
update is certification for the Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT), widening access to a company-approved CNG solution beyond the manual variant. The integrated fuel-filling system now places the CNG nozzle behind the regular fuel flap, improving convenience, ergonomics, and safety during refuelling, particularly in cramped forecourts. The CNG kit continues as a dealer-fit retrofit at authorised centres, preserving vehicle compliance and warranty.
Nissan Magnite: Price, Warranty And Coverage
Nissan has kept the price for the fitment at Rs 71,999, reflecting the GST reduction from 28% to 18% and standardising pricing across its authorised network nationwide. The retrofit is backed by a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty, and is available across 13 states: initially launched in 7 (Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka) and now expanded to 6 more (Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu). Availability is exclusively for the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated Magnite in both MT and EZ-Shift (AMT) configurations.
Installation And Compliance
The retrofit system, developed and quality-assured by Motozen Fuel Systems, is installed only at authorised Nissan CNG retrofitment centres to meet regulatory standards. Nissan emphasises the dealer-fit route to ensure safety, homologation compliance, and seamless after-sales support. Customers should consult their nearest dealer for slot availability and region-wise fitment timelines.

Safety, Assurances And Ownership Experience
All New Nissan Magnite variants now come with six airbags as standard, and the model has secured GNCAP 5-star (AOP) with a 3-star COP rating. Nissan also offers an optional 10-Year Extended Warranty Plan for long-term peace of mind, positioning the Magnite as a strong value play for high-mileage users considering CNG. The CNG retrofitment complements existing trims and special editions in the lineup.
