Lexus India Reports Strong Growth In Ultra-Luxury Segment In 2025 - Check Out Which Trim Contributed The Most

Lexus India has folded the calendar year 2025 on an impressive note, showing that more Indian buyers are now choosing extremely high-end luxury vehicles and the biggest contributors to this growth were

the brand’s flagship models, the Lexus LM and Lexus LX, which saw a strong 50% year-on-year sales increase.

Together, they accounted for around 19% of Lexus India’s total sales, which proves that ultra-luxury mobility is becoming more popular in India. The company offers a mix of hybrid luxury sedans and SUVs, with the LM and LX sitting right at the top of its lineup in the country.

The Lexus LM 350h, often described as a “first-class lounge on wheels,” has been one of the most talked-about luxury vehicles in India. Designed like an ultra-premium MPV, it focuses on comfort, privacy, and technology. It features large captain seats, exceptional ride quality, and a cabin that feels more like a luxury suite than a car. In 2025, it continued to receive overwhelming demand, which shows that many buyers today want a more luxurious and relaxed travel experience.

The Lexus LX 500d, which is the brand’s flagship SUV, also remained extremely popular. Known for its bold road presence, advanced technology and legendary off-road capability, the LX 500d appeals to customers seeking both toughness and pure luxury. It provides a powerful diesel engine, high comfort levels, and the ability to handle tough terrains with ease.

RX Gains Momentum

Another strong performer for Lexus was the RX SUV, which recorded 18% growth in 2025 and contributed 22% to overall sales. This one is positioned slightly below the flagship models, the RX has become an important product for Lexus in India, helping expand the brand’s footprint in the premium luxury SUV segment.

Lexus India’s Outlook for 2026

Hikaru Ikeuchi, President of Lexus India, expressed gratitude for customer trust and said that the brand will continue introducing new luxury experiences in 2026. Lexus also highlighted its strong ownership benefits, including 8-year vehicle warranty, multiple service packages, and 5-year roadside assistance, ensuring customers enjoy a stress-free experience.
