The Revolt RVX has been launched in India as the brand's sportiest electric bike. Priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the new electric bike seems to be an ideal companion for young college goers, daily office commuters, and others with smart looks and practical performance. It also gets modern features and fast-charging capability. Buyers can have the all-new RVX in three colours: Pearl Black, Electric Blue and Eclipse Red. Revolt RVX: Battery, Range and Charging
The Revolt RVX has a 5.3 kW mid-drive Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) and a 3.24kWh removable battery. It has a claimed IDC-certified range of up to 160 kilometres on a single charge, and the top speed is 90km/h. The motor produces
50Nm, which translates to 230Nm of torque at the rear wheel. The bike can accelerate from 0-40km/h in 3.7 seconds.
By employing the standard off-board charger, the electric bike's battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 3 hours and 30 minutes. The full charge comes in 4 hours and 45 minutes. Buyers making use of the fast charger can replenish the battery from 0 to 80% in only 80 minutes.
Revolt RVX: Hardware
The new sportier RVX has upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock setup. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at both ends with a Combined Braking System (CBS). The e-motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres measuring 90/80 at the front and 110/80 at the rear.
The RVX has a kerb weight of 120 kg, a payload capacity of 150 kg. It offers a 200mm of ground clearance and an 815mm of seat height. The wheelbase stands at 1,340mm wheelbase.
