Brixton Motorcycles has confirmed that it will launch the Crossfire 500 Storr in India on October 9. The company revealed the date through a teaser on its social media channels. This will be the Austrian-origin
brand’s fifth model for India after the Crossfire X, Crossfire XC, Cromwell, and Cromwell X.
The Crossfire 500 Storr is an adventure motorcycle positioned directly against established middleweight ADVs. It is powered by a 486cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 47 hp and 43 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Key hardware includes a 320 mm front brake disc with a four-piston J.Juan calliper, a 240 mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper, and dual-channel ABS. Suspension is handled by a KYB upside-down front fork and a KYB central rear monoshock. The motorcycle rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli F110/80-19 and R150/60-17 tyres respectively. Fuel tank capacity stands at 16 litres.

Dimensionally, the Crossfire 500 Storr measures 2,171 mm in length, 916 mm in width and 1,432 mm in height. Seat height is 839 mm, while curb weight is listed at 209 kg.
When launched, the 500 Storr will compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the Honda NX500. The Himalayan 450, priced from Rs 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom), uses a 452cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine delivering 40 hp and 40 Nm, also with a six-speed gearbox. The Honda NX500, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 6.33 lakh (ex-showroom) and features a 471cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 46.93 hp and 43 Nm, again mated to a six-speed transmission.

In terms of specifications, the Crossfire 500 Storr slots between the two competitors. It matches the Honda NX500 closely on output but is expected to undercut it on price, while offering a twin-cylinder alternative to the single-cylinder Himalayan 450.
