The much-awaited facelift of the 3-door Mahindra Thar has been spotted once more and the visuals have been circulating across social media. The facelift is expected to bring the Thar's design and features up to date with the Thar Roxx that was launched on August 15, 2024. The new viral spy shots give us a fair idea of what upgrades we can expect in the Thar facelift. Here are five updates that will make the Thar 3-door fans happy.

1. Thar 3-Door With All LED Lighting:
The biggest drawback that the Thar 3-door has faced since its launch in 2020 is the halogen light setup. This will now be updated to the all-LED headlamp, fog lamp and tail lamp setup that we have already seen
in the Thar Roxx.
2. New Front Fascia For Thar 3-Door:
Just like the Thar Roxx, the Thar 3-door would also now get a more pronounced front look with an all-new grille, flared front bumper and circular LED DRLs.
3. Updated Alloy Wheel Design In Thar 3-Door:
The facelifted Thar 3-door will also get an updated design for the alloy wheels. Based on the spy visuals, we can assume that the design would be similar to the 18-inch 5-spoke design that we have seen in the lower variants of the Thar Roxx.
4. New Touchscreen For Thar 3-Door:
On the inside, the biggest update to the Thar 3-door would be the 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen that we have seen in the Roxx. It could also get the 10.25-inch digital driver information display in its top-end variants, however, the visuals do not confirm the same.
5. Updated Tech Features in Thar 3-Door Facelift:
Based on what we have seen in the Roxx, the facelifted Thar 3-door could also see a refreshed list of features that it offers. These would include a wireless mobile charger, 360-degree parking camera, front and rear vicinity sensors, acoustic windshield for lower wind noise and more.
While Mahindra is yet to confirm a final launch date for the Thar 3-door, we can expect it to be unveiled during the Navratri season or before Diwali 2025. The facelift would make the Thar 3-door more appealing to buyers who do not want a full-sized SUV like the Roxx and are looking for an off-road-oriented 4x4.
