Tata Motors is all set to bring back the Sierra nameplate as an upmarket SUV for India. The new Tata Sierra will likely be launched towards the end of 2025 or by early next year. The model has already
been spotted several times carrying a more production-ready interior with recent test mules. While features are not officially announced by the company, previews and test mules do share a fair bit of detail. Here is an all-features-about that can possibly make it into the new Tata Sierra SUV when it goes on sale.

Tata Sierra SUV: Triple-Screen Interior Layout
One of the much talked about features is the triple-screen arrangement inside. The interior will likely house a digital driver screen, infotainment touchscreen at the centre, and a third screen dedicated to the co-passenger. This new setup clearly defines Tata’s approach toward contemporary and technologically advanced interiors. Expect that infotainment will come equipped with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, including connected car tech plus over-the-air (OTA) updates.
Tata Sierra SUV: Premium Cabin And Material Quality
Soft-touch materials with brushed metal accents have been seen in the spy photos of that sleek, layered dash. Expect ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, and front seat ventillation accompanied by a flat-bottom steering wheel with haptic controls for the Sierra. As a model to be slotted above the brand's popular Harrier SUV, Tata wants to provide a better premium interior experience with enhanced cabin insulation for better NVH levels.
Tata Sierra SUV: Safety And Driver Assistance Features
Safety has always been a priority for Tata and the case is same when it comes to the upcoming Sierra. The model will probably pack multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, electronic stability control (ESC), and hill hold assist. The Tata car will also boast Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, which include adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist.
Tata Sierra SUV: Powertrain Options
The Sierra will debut with electric and internal combustion powertrains. The EV is supposed to borrow bits off Tata’s Gen 2 EV architecture that would yield a handy real-world range of about 450–500 km. A 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine shall power the ICE version, most likely mated with both manual and automatic transmissions. All-wheel-drive, too, is being considered for certain trims, potentially the high-end electric variant.
