Tata Motors Hits 25,000 EV Chargers For SCVs, Plans Another 25,000 Across India

Tata Motors has announced that its electric small commercial vehicle (SCV) customers can now access more than 25,000 public charging stations across India. The network spans over 150 cities, including major logistics hubs such as Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.

The company has also signed agreements with 13 leading charging point operators to add another 25,000 public chargers within the next 12 months. All current and upcoming charging points will be linked to Tata Motors’ connected vehicle platform ‘Fleet Edge’ to help users locate and navigate to chargers in real time.

Tata Motors said the expanded charging network is designed to improve operational efficiency and range confidence for last-mile delivery operators. It also

operates over 200 dedicated EV support centres nationwide to ensure quick service turnaround and high vehicle uptime.

The company’s electric SCV portfolio currently includes the Ace Pro EV, Ace EV and Ace EV 1000. More than 10,000 Tata Ace EVs are already on Indian roads and have collectively logged over six crore kilometres. Tata Motors said the newly launched Ace Pro EV is drawing interest from operators in urban and semi-urban markets.

Pinaki Haldar, Vice President and Business Head of SCVPU at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said the 25,000 public charging station milestone marks a key step in advancing electric cargo mobility and strengthening the enabling ecosystem.
