Skoda Auto India has made 2025 its biggest year ever, as the automaker has achieved record-breaking sales of 61,607 cars between January and October 2025.
October itself was a gainer month for skoda, with
8,252 cars sold, that marked its best-ever monthly sales in India. This success comes during the company’s 25th anniversary year in India, which makes the milestone even more special.
A big part of this success comes from the Kylaq, which is Skoda’s first-ever sub-4-meter SUV, that has already sold nearly 40,000 units since its launch earlier this year. The Kylaq’s compact design, premium features and strong performance have made it a popular choice among Indian buyers. Alongside it, steady sales of the Kodiaq which is the brand’s luxury 4x4 SUV and consistent contributions from the Kushaq and Slavia sedans have kept momentum going high. Sedan lovers also rushed to buy the Octavia RS, which sold out within just 20 minutes of its release.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Škoda Auto India, said, “We began the year 2025 with the intent to significantly strengthen the brand and surge ahead in India. Skoda has now sold over 2,00,000 locally produced cars in India, which strengthen its presence across 180 cities. The brand’s 2025 rebranding campaign made India the first global market to adopt Skoda’s new identity and its popular “I Love My Doda” campaign have further deepened consumer connection.
Skoda’s focus on customer trust continues with plans to expand its workforce by 50% and invest in 25,000 training days to improve service quality. With innovation, emotion, and reliability driving its growth, Skoda Auto India is cruising into a future brighter than ever.
