TVS Motor Company has officially confirmed the launch of its much-anticipated adventure motorcycle, the RTX 300, in India on October 15. The model, first showcased in prototype form at the 2025 Bharat
Mobility Expo, marks TVS’s entry into the growing 300cc ADV segment. After months of silence following its early appearance, the company is now ready to introduce the production-ready version to the market.
At the Bharat Mobility Expo, the RTX 300 was displayed in near-final form, revealing several design and hardware details. It is expected to be powered by TVS’s new 299cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, known as the RTX D4. This motor was first unveiled at last year’s MotoSoul event and is rated to produce around 35 hp and 28.5 Nm of peak torque. The unit will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox, likely featuring a slipper clutch.

Design-wise, the TVS RTX 300 looks like a proper middleweight ADV. The front fascia features a sharp fairing, a compact beak-style fender, and a tall windscreen, while the rear end has a narrow tail section with a split seat setup. The overall design indicates a blend of touring comfort and off-road capability.
Underneath, the motorcycle is built around a steel trellis frame suspended by an upside-down (USD) front fork and a rear monoshock. The setup is expected to offer long suspension travel suitable for mixed terrain riding. The RTX 300 will ride on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination, wrapped in dual-purpose tyres. Braking duties will be handled by petal-type disc brakes at both ends, likely supported by dual-channel ABS.

Feature-wise, TVS is likely to equip the RTX 300 with a full-colour TFT display offering Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and smartphone integration. Other expected features include multiple ride modes, traction control, and possibly switchable ABS. TVS is expected to position the RTX 300 aggressively in the market, with a likely ex-showroom price in the range of Rs 2.6–2.8 lakh. Once launched, it will compete with models like the KTM 250 Adventure and the Yezdi Adventure.
