The next-generation Hyundai Venue is set to make its debut in the first week of November, and ahead of that, the current model has received a huge price cut of up to Rs 1.70 lakh. This drop in price is a mix
of two factors: the recent change in GST rates for small cars and Hyundai’s own festive season discounts.
Under the revised GST rules, cars under 4 metres in length and powered by petrol engines below 1200cc now attract 18% GST instead of 28%. The Hyundai Venue fits perfectly in this category, leading to a price reduction of up to Rs 1.23 lakh, depending on the variant. On top of that, Hyundai is also offering additional festive discounts of up to Rs 50,000, making the compact SUV an even more appealing pick. All this comes just weeks before the all-new Venue arrives.

Spy shots of the new model show a sharper and more premium design inspired by Hyundai’s larger SUVs like the Creta and Tucson. The front fascia gets a new split-headlamp setup with connected C-shaped LED DRLs and a larger grille. The side profile looks cleaner with flared wheel arches, new 16-inch alloy wheels, and a blacked-out C-pillar carrying the ‘Venue’ badge. At the back, a full-width LED light bar and dual-tone bumper design add a wider and more modern look.
Inside, the 2025 Venue will get a major makeover. The biggest change is a twin-screen setup combining the digital driver’s display and touchscreen infotainment system in a single curved unit, similar to the latest Creta. The dashboard design has been simplified, materials improved, and the steering wheel redesigned.

Expected features include a 360-degree camera, wireless smartphone connectivity, and Hyundai’s Level 2 ADAS. Engine options are likely to remain the same: the 83hp 1.2-litre petrol, 120hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 100hp 1.5-litre diesel, with manual and DCT gearbox options. With the current model now more affordable and the new one around the corner, it’s an interesting time for anyone planning to buy the Hyundai Venue.
