Royal Enfield is taking a bold step into the future of electric motorcycles with its sub-brand Flying Flea and its latest creation ‘Flying Flea S6’, which has just made its global debut at the EICMA 2025 show in Milan. This new scrambler-style electric motorcycle tends to blend Royal Enfield’s classic design DNA with the advanced technology of the modern electric vehicle era.
Flying Flea Expands Its Electric Family
The Flying Flea S6 is the second model under Royal Enfield’s electric mobility lineup, following the FF.C6 that was unveiled in 2024. The name “Flying Flea” is a ‘yes’ to Royal Enfield’s historic lightweight motorcycles from World War II, which were known for their agility and versatility. Now, that legacy is being reimagined for the electric age, that is compact, capable
and city-ready.
Designed for urban riders and light off-road enthusiasts, the FF.S6 is meant to deliver a mix of fun and practicality. It is expected to hit international markets in late 2026, with India likely to follow soon after.
Design and Features
This bike stands out with its rugged yet minimal design. It features a 19-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel, which is a setup perfect for tackling both city roads and rough trails. Long-travel USD front forks, an enduro-style seat and a chain final drive underline its scrambler personality.
A magnesium battery case with cooling fins not only manages heat efficiently but also keeps the bike lightweight. The most interesting element in it is its circular touchscreen display, which combines classic styling with modern digital functionality, that offers navigation, ride stats and smartphone connectivity.
Technology and Performance
Underneath its retro design is some serious innovation, as the FF.S6 is powered by a high-torque electric motor paired with advanced electronics. It also features lean-sensitive ABS, traction control and a special off-road mode that adapts to loose surfaces.
At its core is a Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 processor, which runs this bike’s smart interface, complete with 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can check diagnostics, switch ride modes or monitor charging through their smartphone or smartwatch. It even supports voice commands and over-the-air updates, which makes it one of the most tech-forward Royal Enfields ever made.
A Blend of Heritage and Innovation
The Flying Flea S6 captures the essence of Royal Enfield’s heritage while paving the way for a new era of electric mobility. With its retro-inspired scrambler look, connected technology and focus on both city comfort and off-road fun, the S6 could become the go-to EV for customers seeking something adventurous yet practical.
As Royal Enfield gears up for its electric future, the Flying Flea S6 shows that the brand isn’t just keeping up with the times, but also redefining what an electric motorcycle can be.
