The 2025 TVS Raider 125 has been sighted at a dealer stockyard, revealing crucial updates months ahead of its official launch. The most notable changes include a rear disc brake and single-channel Super Moto ABS, making it the first in its segment to adopt a rear disc setup. These enhancements point toward TVS strengthening the Raider’s safety and performance credentials. The spotting suggests the bike is production-ready, and these features will likely form part of the core update when the model goes official.

2025 TVS Raider 125: What's New
As seen in the leaked images, the 2025 Raider is expected to arrive on the market with significant upgrades - dual petal type disc brakes (Front
and Rear) with single channel Super Moto ABS. This revamp will make the new Raider stand out from the rest of the players in the 125cc motorcycle class due to the inclusion of a rear disc. The ABS system is tailored for road use (Super Moto style), which may disable ABS at the rear under off-road or aggressive use.
2025 TVS Raider 125: Powertrain And Feature Continuity
When it comes to mechanicals, the Raider continues to be powered by a 124.8cc, 3-valve, single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine that can make up to around 11.2 hp of maximum power and 11.2 Nm of peak torque. It is just the same as the previous iteration. This unit will also come mated to the 5-speed gearbox. On the feature front, the Raider carries forward the LED headlamp and taillamp setup apart from a digital instrument cluster. Moreover, the bike has two ride modes: Eco and Power for a thrilling ride. If we go by latest leaked images, more aesthetic updates and new colour schemes are highly likely.
TVS is also rolling out wider tyres — 90-section front and 110-section rear — enhancing grip and handling under the new braking setup. The rest of the chassis and suspension geometry appears unchanged: telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear.

What To Expect At Launch
TVS is likely closing up on regulatory clearances and showroom allocations with production-ready units already seen. This will be followed by the official price announcement, along with variant differentiation (if any), as well as delivery commencement. The safety plus braking upgrades can take Raider 125 up in the market, positioning it at a more premium product in the highly competitive 125cc segment.
