When it comes to electric vehicles being sold in India, the market has grown exponentially in the last few years. From economical small hatchbacks to flagship 7-seater electric SUVs, the crop of electric cars
has something to offer everyone at present. Out of these, the Mahindra BE 6 stands out amidst the crowd with its concept car-like design and powerful performance specifications. At a standard output of 222 hp and 380 Nm of torque, the BE 6 overshadows several European luxury cars out there. Here's a closer look at the eight colour options being offered with the BE 6 electric coup SUV.
The standard BE 6 has a mix of metallic and satin finish exterior colour options. The metallic shades include Everest White, Firestorm Orange, Tango Red, Stealth Black, Deep Forest and a metallic Desert Myst variation. The satin finish colour on the other hand include Desert Myst Satin and Everest White Satin. These colours do not include the special edition cars that Mahindra periodically introduces such as the BE 6 Batman Edition that was recently launched for a limited amount of number.
It is important to note that the BE 6 base PACK ONE variant gets steel rims with a plastic cover and higher variants get a blacked-out 19-inch stylised wheel setup. The 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels are only seen in the top-end trims of Pack THREE SELECT and Pack THREE. Other visual differences between the base and higher trims include startup and goodbye animations, sequential indicators, puddle lamps, a fixed glass panoramic sunroof, cornering lamps, auto booster lamps and other small details.
The Mahindra BE 6 is a performance-oriented electric coupe SUV from its base PACK ONE variant itself. The rear-wheel-drive electric motor gives it an output of 222 hp (170 kW) and 380 Nm of torque. The BE 6 also gets multiple drive modes such as Default, Range, Everyday, Race and Snow modes. The base 59 kWh battery pack gives the BE 6 a claimed MIDC range of 557 km. Most importantly, the Mahindra BE 6 coupe EV has a starting price of Rs 18.90 lakh ex-showroom.
