Toyota is taking the imagination of what a family sedan can be to another level with the new Camry GT-S Concept, which is revealed at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This concept car takes the already
popular 2025 Camry XSE AWD Hybrid and gives it a bold new and performance-oriented makeover that blends sporty design with real-world practicality.
The Camry GT-S Concept feels like something that could hit dealerships soon. Toyota says the idea behind this model was simple but daring as to create a sport sedan that’s stylish, aggressive and ready for the road without being unrealistic.
This Camry GT-S is equipped with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder hybrid engine which produces 232 horsepower. The focus of the brand behind this new Camry isn’t on adding more power but on improving the design, stance and handling and as a result here is a sedan that feels faster, looks sharper and handles better, all while keeping the comfort and efficiency that Camry is known for.

The design team at Toyota’s CALTY Design Research in Ann Arbor led the styling part for this sedan. The concept features aerodynamic upgrades including a sculpted front bumper, sleeker side skirts and a new rear design that integrates perfectly with a performance exhaust. A new “Inferno Flare” exterior finish gives this car a bold motorsport-inspired identity that stands apart from traditional sedans.
To match its sporty looks, the GT-S Concept includes adjustable coilover suspension that lowers the car by 1.5 inches for improved stability and high-performance brakes with 8-piston and 6-piston calipers for better stopping power. It has 20-inch performance wheels which are wrapped in low-profile 245/35R20 tires that give it a wide and aggressive stance.
From the inside, the concept remains close to the production Camry that reflects Toyota’s focus on attainable performance rather than fantasy design.
According to Toyota executives, the Camry GT-S Concept is not just a one-off creation. It’s a “study in future possibilities,” showing how Toyota might evolve the Camry into a more performance-oriented sedan for car enthusiasts.
The car will be displayed from November 4–7, 2025, at the Las Vegas Convention Center during the SEMA Show, under Toyota’s theme “Powered by Possibility.”
