Design
The Hero Xtreme 125R has a bold and muscular design that gives it a sporty presence on the road, as with its aggressive headlamp design, sculpted fuel tank and sharp tail section, the bike looks more like a higher-capacity motorcycle than a simple commuter. The full-LED lighting setup includes the projector headlamp, indicators and taillight.
Hero offers this bike in four colours which are - Firestorm Red, Stallion Black, Cobalt Blue, and an exclusive Abrax Orange for the single-seat variant.

Engine and Performance
The bike is equipped with a 124.7cc air-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that produces 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The bike can go from 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.9 seconds and reach a top speed of around 95 km/h.
Fuel efficiency is also one of its biggest highlights, as with an ARAI-certified mileage of 66 kmpl, the Xtreme 125R gives you a low running costs which is perfect for daily commutes. It also includes Hero’s i3S (idle start-stop) technology, which automatically turns off the engine at signals or traffic stops to save fuel.
Comfort and Handling
The Xtreme 125R is built on a diamond frame for improved stability and balance. It features 37mm telescopic front forks and a Showa monoshock at the rear with adjustable preload, which provides a smooth and controlled ride even on uneven roads. With a seat height of 794 mm, it is comfortable for riders of all heights and the 180 mm ground clearance makes it ideal for Indian roads.
Safety and Braking
The bike comes in two main braking setups - IBS (Integrated Braking System) and Single-Channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The IBS variant uses linked brakes for stable stopping, while the ABS variant prevents the front wheel from locking during emergency braking. The ABS version gets a 276mm front disc brake, while the IBS has a 240mm disc and both are paired with a 130mm rear drum brake.
Features and Technology
The Hero Xtreme 125R is designed with keeping tech-savvy riders in consideration. Its fully digital LCD console displays speed, gear position, fuel level and trip details in a clean non-coloured display. Bluetooth connectivity provides call and SMS alerts, while features like a hazard light switch and LED projector headlamp improve convenience and safety.
